Language is the most important tool for exchange of ideas and feelings,and transmission of information. In Putonghua Proficiency Test, the examiner＇s language directly affects examinee＇s emotions and performance. With some case studies of examiner＇ s language during testing, the paper tries to explore the significance of standardizing the examiner＇s language, the principles examiner＇s language should conform to,the body language examiners adopt and so on. This article attempts to clarity the idea that effective summary and research of the examiner＇s language is a way to ensure testing quality, hoping to standardize the examiner＇s language.
