The commercial application of RK-05 catalyst for methanol synthesis from coke oven gas in Xilaifeng Coal Chemical Branch of Shenhua Wuhai Coal Group Corporation Limited was introduced, including the process index of heating-reduction, production and control and the existing problems. The operation condition of methanol synthesis plant was good and RK-05 catalyst exhibited high mechanical strength, easy reduction and better selectivity.
