The transcription factor KLF6 and its role in neural regeneration

摘要 Kruppel-like factor6(KLF6)是Krupple样因子家族的一员,其广泛表达于多种组织中,涉及细胞生长与凋亡、肿瘤发生与发展、血管形成及血管损伤后的修复等多种生理病理过程。本文就目前研究中转录因子KLF6的生理和病理学功能,包括神经损伤后再生过程中的作用加以综述。 Kruppel-like factor 6 (KLF6) is a member of Kruppel-like factor family, is expressed widely in many tissues, and involved in the regulation of a variety of biological processes, including cell growth, cell apoptosis, tumorigenesis and progression, angiogenesis, vascular injury and repair. An overview will be given here about the function of a transcription factor KLF6 in different physiological or pathological processes, especially its role in the neural regeneration after injury.
