摘要
数字博物馆是分布式虚拟环境系统的一种典型应用。在数字博物馆的建模中,当我们要生成相当真实感的场景时,由于场景的复杂性,要实现其实时性,往往是不太可能的。因此,我们必须要通过适当的方法来简化场景的复杂性,提高场景载入的实时性。层次细节(levels of details)技术就是在这样的情况下提出来的。本文给出了虚拟博物馆限时自适应LOD实现机制设计图,并且提出了一种改进的基于时间估计和对象重要性的实时LOD选择算法。实验结果表明显示效果形象逼真,并满足实时性要求。
The Digital Museum is atypical application of distributed virtual environment system. The modeling of the Digital Museum, when we want to generate quite realistic scene, due to the complexity of the scene to achieve it' s real-time, it tends to be impossible . So we must use the appropriate method to simplify the complexity of the scene, to improve the scene to load real-time. In such circumstances level of detail (Levels of Details) technology is proposed. This paper presents a virtual museum limited adaptive LOD mechanism design, and proposes an improved LOD selection algorithm based on time estimates and the importance of the object. Experimental results show that vivid image display, and meet the real-time requirements.
