本文就湘钢从企业结构优化入手,统筹规划,分步实施,用转炉取代平炉,连铸取代模铸,建成一个全连铸钢厂的工艺设计进行了论述。

The author has discussed the technological design of the modernization project of Xiangtan Iron & Steel Company for realization of a fully CC steelmaking plant which includes the replacement of the open hearth furnaces by converters and the replacement of ingot casting by continuous casting on the basis of optimization of the enterprise structure, systematical planning and implementation in various steps.
