Application of the new chemically heat treated copper plate to continuous casting mould

新型化学热处理工艺已用于连铸机的结晶器。实践证明,经化学热处理的结晶器具有良好的导热性、高的耐磨性、抗氧化性和热疲劳强度,寿命显著延长,降低成本。实验数据和现场使用结果显示这些特性。

A new technology of chemically heat treatment has been applied to the mould of continuous caster. The mould after chemically heat treatment shows a good heat conductivity, antioxidation, wear resistance and strong thermo-fatigue strength. The service life is much longer than that without being treated, so the cost is reduced. This article discusses these properties through analyzing the testing data and the results of operation.
