The museum of San Telmo in San Sebastian, northwestern Spain, is located on the fringe where urban structure meets the topography of Monte Urgull. The NSA extension and refurbishment defines aboundary between city and nature, urban spaces and museum, and between architecture of different times. Through the materialization of boundary, San Telmo's architects are able to organize the spatial and formal configuration of the building.
