Applicability of Hm Index in Institutional Evaluation——A Case Study on the Field of “the HIV Infection and Treatment”

摘要首先归纳Molinari等人对H指数在科研机构评价中局限性的研究;在此基础上,研究Hm指数的原理及计算方法,指出机构Hm指数的特点及其在科研机构评价中的优势;最后以"艾滋病病毒感染与治疗"主题为案例,分析Hm指数在机构评价实践中的适用性。 The authors firstly summarizes the limitations of application of H-index to institution evaluation. Then the definition and calculation of Hm index is introduced. Based on that, the characteristic and advantage of Hm index is analyzed. Finally, a case study is taken to verify the characteristic of Hm index and its rationality in institutional evaluation.
