山地经济反映山地区域内经济发展的客观规律。西部地区山地经济以自身资源优势和特色而存在,也存在其自身困境。生态文明背景下,西部地区山地经济迎来了绿色发展新机遇。西部地区要继续以自身资源优势为基础,注重山地经济发展模式的可持续性、生态平衡性、环境友好性、产业复合性和经济循环开放性。生态农林牧业、生态旅游业和生态加工工业的系统性与可持续发展及其制度建设是西部山区实现绿色发展的路径选择。

Mountain economy reflects the objective law of economic development of the mountain areas. The mountain economies of China＇s western regions do exist with their own characteristics and resource advantages, and have their own problems and difficulties. Under the background of ecological civilization, the mountainous areas of the western regions face new opportunities to achieve green development. The western regions should continue to take their own advantages for granted, and pay more attention to the sustainability, ecological balance, and environmental friendship, industrial complex and economic openness of their economic development mode. Ecological agriculture and animal husbandry, ecological tourism industry and ecological processing industry and their relative system construction are the feasible path for green development of the western mountainous areas.
