On the Significance of Implementing the Two Marriage Laws in the Central Soviet Area

中国共产党在中央苏区先后颁布和实施的《婚姻条例》、《婚姻法》,是中国共产党依托法制建设,维系社会稳定,力创幸福和谐的治国安邦艺术的伟大尝试。它第一次真正意义上打破两千多年来束缚妇女的封建婚姻枷锁,唤醒了广大妇女要求平等和独立的意识,激发了妇女投身于革命的激情,这对于苏区社会稳定以及各项建设,尤其对支援前线战争起到了重大而积极的作用。

the Chinese Communist Party once promulgated and implemented the marriage ordinance and the marriage law in the central Soviet area, which was an attempt of the Party to construct the legal system and maintain the social stability. It was the first time to break the feudal marriage bound for the women over two thousand years. It waked up the women＇s consciousness of equality and independence, and inspired the women passion to involve in the revolution. It played an active role in the social stability and various construction in the soviet area, especially in supporting the front war.
