摘要
电子邮件 (E mail)是Internet的重要组成部分。说明了TCP/IP与邮件协议之间的关系 ,C/S模型的基本结构 ,E mail系统的主要组成部分 (用户代理、输出队列、报文传输代理、邮箱 )和实现E mail收发的基本协议 (SMTP ,POP3)。运用windowssocket网络编程界面实现邮件协议。针对传统集中式电子邮件的不足 ,提出了分布式电子邮件的概念 ,从对二者进行比较中得出分布式电子邮件的优点 ,并设计出实现分布式电子邮件的主要模块结构 (收发模块、用户认证模块、邮件存储模块、用户接入模块等 )。
E mail is an important part of Internet. The relation between TCP/IP and E mail protocol ,the basic structure of C/S model, the key component of E mail system(user agent, outgoing queue, message transfer agent, mailbox ) and the E mail protocol are described .The theory of using Window Socket to implement the E mail protocol is applied,and the conception of the distributed E mail structure is put foward directed against the defect of the traditional centralized E mail.The prominent modules of the distributed E mail structure(the module of sending and receiving , the module of authorizing user, the module of storing E mail,the module of connecting user)is designed based on the comparison between the traditional centralized E mail and the distributed E mail structure .
