摘要
在《回归大学之道:对美国大学本科教育的反思与展望》一书中,博克从历史角度评价美国大学本科教育质量问题,从美国大学生在接受本科教育期间所取得的进步与本科教育目标之间的差距出发,探寻美国本科教育质量问题的症结所在,并提出本科教育质量提升的策略。虽然各个国家的社会制度不同,大学的历史与传统不同,高等教育系统的制度和体制不同,但是博克关于本科教育质量问题及对策的探索对于提高我国本科教育质量具有一定的借鉴意义。
In《A Candid Look at How Much Students Learn and Why They Should Be Learning more》 ,Derek Bok evaluate the quality of American undergraduate education from a historical point. Compare undergraduate education students progress in the United States with the goal of undergraduate education, to explore crux of the problem of the quality of undergraduate education in the United States, and proposed to improve the quality of undergraduate education strategy Although each country has different social systems.different history and traditions of institutions of higher education systems, but issues of the quality of undergraduate education and strategies for impro- ving the quality of undergraduate education is more significant for China.
