大学生网络自主学习英语情况——基于苏州科技学院问卷调查的分析

A Survey on College Students' Using of Internet for English Autonomous Learning——A Case Study on a survey in USTS

为了了解大学生利用网络自主学习英语的现状,笔者对苏州科技学院2008级学生进行了问卷调查。结果显示,目前多数学生没有养成良好的网络自主学习习惯,利用网络资源和学习平台辅助英语学习的时间很少,其功能和作用没有得到很好的开发和利用。推进网络自主学习教学模式的改革,需要学校在教学机制上给予支持,在网络平台建设上加强投入,同时也需要教师积极主动地推进改革和应用,让学生更好地利用网络资源和学习平台促进大学英语学习。

The author conducted a survey among students of the University of Science and Technology of Suzhou enrolled in 2008, in or- der to understand the present situation of students＇using of Internet for English autonomous learning. The result shows that most students hadn＇t form a good habit of Internet-based self-learning ,the time they spent on English autonomous learning with the aid of internet re- sources and E-learning hall was little,its function hadn＇ t been explored fully and made use of properly. Thus the author gives sugges- tions that colleges,teachers and students should all make efforts to enforce the reform of English teaching model, and let students make good use of internet resources and E-learning hall to improve their English learning.
