不好的“二”

The Bad "Two"

"二"是个数词,不仅在汉语中,在英语、德语等多种语言中,带"二"的具有感情色彩的词常有分裂、混乱、不专一、不健全、不完善等不好的涵义。从古代汉语、现代汉语普通话和方言以及国外语言三个方面阐明这种现象,并解释其原因。

＂ Two＂ is a number. Not only in Chinese,words with ＂two＂ often have such bad connotations as split,confusion,not specific and imperfect in English, German and other languages. This paper discusses this phenomenon in the ancient Chinese, modem Chinese Mandarin and dialects, as well as foreign languages, and explains its reasons.
