At present,the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People＇s Republic China is on going national environmental information and statistical capacity building project,in the project,certificate is providing strong authentication service.The paper discusses in detail the application of digital certificate,points out the future direction of the work,also pointed out the deficiencies in the project.
