Entomopathogenic fungus for biological control of vectors

虫生真菌可以引发宿主昆虫动物流行病,是昆虫种群密度重要的调节因子。本文综述了绿僵菌、白僵菌等虫生真菌防治蚊、蝇、蟑螂、蜱、蠓等病媒害虫的研究进展,重点分析了真菌应用于蚊虫防治的基础与应用研究成果,展望了虫生真菌在病媒害虫防治领域的研究趋势和应用前景。

Entomopathogenic fungus is a fungus that can act as a parasite of insects,induce epidemics of insects, and kill or seriously disable them. In this presentation the highlight of some success of entomopathogenic fungus inclu- ding Metarhizium anisopliae and Beauveria bassiana for control of mosquitoes, cockroaches, houseflies, ticks, midges and other urban pests are reviewed with emphasizing on fungus as biological factor for mosquitoes. Further develop- ment and implementation of entomopathogenic fungus in vector management is also envisaged.
