摘要
本文在启蒙运动以来所形成的现代思想体系中观照《鲁滨逊漂流记》,认为鲁滨逊是代表着启蒙意识形态的神话,其背后的真理是为启蒙意识形态服务的隐喻,而鲁滨逊则集中体现了现代思想体系的两个核心价值:理性至上原则以及对自给自足主体性的崇拜。在肯定启蒙的成就的前提下,本文旨在从批判的角度观照这两个核心价值,以反思启蒙,提出理性至上原则有可能造成人的异化,同时它还为鲁滨逊的欧洲中心主义思想及殖民行为提供理据,而对自给自足主体性的崇拜则成为现代人傲慢的根源。
Robinson Crusoe is a myth embodying the values of the Enlightenment ideology.This myth is not so much a truth as a conventionalized metaphor for this ideology.In Crusoe are embodied two essential values celebrated by modern ideological system: the rationality first principle and the worship of a self-sufficient subject,both of which are rather problematic.While acknowledging the achievements of the Enlightenment,this paper argues that rationality first principle may lead to the alienation of man and provide the rationale for Crusoe's Eurocentrism and colonialist activities.The worship of a self-sufficient subject is the root of the arrogance of the modern man.
