A clinical interpretation of 2012 American guideline on the diagnosis and management of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease

近10年来,随着对非酒精性脂肪性肝病流行病学和自然史认识的持续加深、诊断技术的飞速进步以及治疗手段的不断更新,针对非酒精性脂肪性肝病的诊疗取得了巨大进展。2012年,美国肝病学会、胃肠病学院和胃肠病学会对非酒精性脂肪性肝病诊疗相关问题进行总结,明确了大量临床工作中的具体问题。文章对指南中重点结论进行归纳,并与现有非酒精性脂肪性肝病的指南进行比较,以促进非酒精性脂肪性肝病诊疗的规范化。

Based on the increasingly growing knowledge of the epidemiology and natural history of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease （NAFLD） , noticeable advances have been made in diagnostic procedures, therapeutic and preventative approaches, and clinical management for NAFLD patients in the past decade. In 2012, the American association for the study of liver diseases, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterological Association issued practice guideline on the diagnosis and management of NAFLD. The paper summarizes key points of this guideline and compare it with other guidelines on NAFLD to assist physicians and other health care providers in the clinical decision-making process.
