摘要
以"信达雅"的翻译标准引出中餐菜单翻译的一些问题,通过分析问题的根源,归纳了造成了翻译困难的问题点。并且从菜单的功能、目的以及中餐菜名的构成和命名方法入手,探讨了中餐菜单英译的一些方法。
Based on the translation criteria of" faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance", some problems in the translation of Chinese menu are raised, causes of the problem are analyzed and difficulties in translation are summarized. The approach of translating Chinese menu is discussed from the function and purpose of the menu to the composition of Chinese dish and naming method.
