An Approach to Ring-Type Cracks on Cylinder-Hole Wall of Engine Block

针对某厂发动机缸体铸件沿缸筒环状分布的裂纹缺陷 ,通过金相、扫描电镜和能谱分析 ,结合该厂生产实践 ,探讨了裂纹成因 ,并提出了防治对策。

s The ring-type cracks on the cylinder hole wall of engine block were investigated by using metallography,SEM and energy-spectrum analysis.Combining with the practice of the foundry,the reason causing cracks was discussed,andthe countermeasures to prevent the crack defect was proposed.
