Image Retrieval Method Based on the Integrated Color and Texture Features of Interest Points

提出了一种基于兴趣点局部区域综合颜色和纹理的图像检索方法。此方法主要用于对图像中有代表意义的局部区域图像特征进行提取。文中研究了对兴趣点的选取以及感兴趣区域的确定,再对感兴趣区域内的图像进行颜色和纹理特征提取。实验证明,此方法提高了图像的检索效率及准确率。

This paper presents a method for image retrieval based on the local area of interest points and inte- grated color and texture feature of an image. By this method representative features of the local area of an image are extracted. The study puts emphasis on the selection oft the interest points and the interest regions and the subsequent extraction of the color and texture of the interest regions. Experiments show that this method improves the efficiency and accuracy of image retrieval.
