The paper undertakes the investigation and research on the poor smoothness of rural roads, analyzes the reasons for the poor smoothness of the read foundation and pavement, explores the influence of the poor smoothness on reads, vehicle and read cost, and points out the construction staff should promote the field management, and improve the craft and construction methods, so as to enhance the quality of pavement projects.
