An Analysis of Engagement Resources in English Broadcast News

摘要应用Martin的评价理论的介入子系统,以UAM Corpus Tool 2.0为分析工具,分析了英语广播新闻BBC和VOA当中介入资源的分布情况,旨在使读者能更好地把握新闻语篇的特点,正确解读新闻,准确把握作者意图,对广播新闻的撰写者也具有一定的启发意义。 Based on Martin＇s Appraisal Theory, this paper used the UAM Corpus Tool as the instrument and analyzes the distribution of engagement resources in the Broadcast News from BBC and VOA. This study is designed to enable readers to grasp the characteristics, have a correct interpretation of the news discourse, and have an accurate understanding of the author＇s intentions. It also has some instructive meaning to the writer of the Broadcast News.
