摘要
《红字》中的珠儿是美国文学中的经典形象。通过文本分析,首先确立邪恶与正义,纯真与老成,神秘与存在,虔诚与反叛四组二元对立,运用解构主义理论,消解对立,从而实现对珠儿的人物形象的深层分析。
Pearl in Scarlet Letter is a longstanding image created by Nathniel Hawthorne in American literature. This paper intends to analyze four binary oppositions from the perspective of deconstrnetion： evil and justice, innocence and maturity, mystery and being, as well as piety and rebellion to get a deeper interpretation of the protagonist, Pearl.
