摘要
在近代乡村女子教育发展史上,晏阳初及其领导的平民教育运动功勋卓著。晏阳初的平民教育思想主要体现为"四大教育"和"三大方式",其中涉及的女子教育思想具有突破性意义,对现代农村女子教育发展仍有启示作用。
Y. C. James Yen, the organizer of the Mass Education Movement, has made distinguished contribution to the development of rural female education in modern China. Y. C. James Yen＇ s thoughts of Mass Education Move- ment mainly divided into two parts as ＂Four Educations＂ and ＂Three Ways＂. Y. C. James Yen＇ s significant women educational thoughts still offer important enlightenments to the development of modern rural women education.
