翻译中的“雅”字之本义探索

Study on the Original Meaning of “Ya” in Translation

严复提出的译事"三难""信、达、雅",对中国的翻译理论产生了深远影响,人们对"雅"字的争议也从未间断。对"雅"字的进一步探讨得出翻译中的"雅"合理的解释是语言的"正确,合乎规范"。

Put forward by Yan Fu, ＂Faithfulness, Fluency and Elegant （Ya）＂ have being greatly influenced for the translation theory in China, while in history the hot disputation about ＂ya＂ has being existed. The proper interpretation of ＂ya＂, that is, ＂correctness and conforming to the standard＂, is got by further discussion of ＂ya＂.
