The Origin of Chinese Tea Culture:Shann′xi Tea Culture

陕西茶文化发展的每个历史节点都创造了辉煌的业绩:传说中的神农氏在陕西开创了五千年"茗饮之风";陕西形成了最早的吃茶习俗;陕西不仅把"茗饮之事"推广至大江南北,还将其传播到了世界各地;陕西创制了中华第一茯茶。陕西茶文化不仅是中华茶文化的源头之一,还是中国传统文化的重要组成部分。

This paper, combining literature and history, analysis and cosolidation, discusses the position of ＂Shann＇ xi＂ in tea culture. Shann＇xi was considered to create outstanding achievement in the development of tea culture in each historical period ： The God of Tea ＂Shen Nongshi＂ created a tradition which was ＂drinking tea＂ for 5000 years in Shann＇xi; there produced the first royal tea and appeared the earliest ＂Tea Garden＂. Thus the earliest custom ＂eating tea＂ formed in Shann＇xi. After that, ＂drinking tea＂ spread all over the country and people developed a habit of ＂drinking tea＂ every day. Besides, Shann＇xi also created the first ＂Fu Tea＂ and the excellent ＂Tea Set＂. So, Shann＇xi Tea Culture is the source of Chinese Tea Culture. Its development represents the history of Chinese Tea Culture.
