南水北调工程是解决我国水资源的和生产力分布极不适应经济和社会发展需要的战略性基础设施为配合有关部门开展这项工作，我们从湖北省航运可持续发展出发，开展了一系列专题研究。本文着重分析了南水北调中线工程对汉江航运的影响，并从汉江航运在湖北省经济发展中的重要地位和作用出发，阐述了补偿的必要性和对策措施。
