早期钧瓷年代是金世宗大定时期(1161-1189)至章宗明昌时期(1190-1196),即十二世纪后半期,是汝瓷向钧瓷的过渡期。其窑址位于宝丰清凉寺、汝州严和店、禹州白峪三处。钧釉铜红斑技术的发源地,首先出现于严和店窑,然后才传到豫西各地。"钧瓷"概念需要做历时性纵深辨析。

The age of early Jun porcelain is from Jinshizong （ 1161-1189 ） to Zhangzong （ 1190-1196 ） , namely the second half of the 12th century, which is the transitional period from Ru porcelain to Jun porcelain. The three kiln sites are in Qingliang Temple of Baofeng, Yanhedian of Ruzhou and Baiyu of Yuzhon. The technology of copper red spots of Jun glaze originated from Yanhedian kiln, then it spread to western Henan. The concept of ＂Jun porcelain＂ needs a deep diachronie analysis.
