The influence of low NO X combustion technology,including low oxygen combustion and flue gas recirculation,on the heat transfer performance of ball packed bed regenerator,has been numerically investigated.The results indicate that whether the low NO X combustioin technology is suitable to the regenerative combustion system,has relation to the level of caloric value of fuel.When fuel with low caloric value is burned,the low oxygen combustion technology can effectively decrease the NO X emission and increase the thermal effectiveness.
