An Outline of Translation Rhetoric

翻译学与修辞学密切相关,两者都研究言语交际,旨在促进人际交流与合作。利用修辞学理论资源系统研究翻译学中的各种问题便会催生出翻译修辞学的分支学科。结合修辞学的最新发展,本文勾勒出了翻译修辞学的一些基本论题,如修辞格的翻译、文体风格的翻译、女性修辞的翻译、论辩修辞与翻译批评等。翻译修辞学的系统构建有待具体论题的深入研究以及译界学者的广泛参与。

Translatology and rhetoric are closely related in that they both focus on the study of linguistic communication in order to enhance interpersonal communication. This paper sketches out some basic topics in translation rhetoric, such as the translation of rhetorical devices, of style, of feministic rhetoric and so on. The systemic construction of translation rhetoric relies on the intensive research of specific topics and the extensive participation of translation scholars.
