Qiu Jun's Education Concept and the "Chenghua Era" of the Ming Dynasty

The ＂Chenghua era＂ of the Ming Dynasty is an early commercialized era when people tended to ＂lose their heart＂, thus the proper response to needs of the era was a motif of the then period. While Qiu Jun＇ s educational concept for the purpose of maintaining people＇ s lives featuring humanism and some humanity as well as his moral position was a sound salvation strategy in response to the social change, the paradox between tradition and the era in ideology and culture is the source of his puzzle in his political career as well as the cultural basis for his practicality-and-reality-oriented salvation strategy through education, thus gaining methodological significance. Qiu Jun＇ s educational concept was a turning point that traditional Confucianism in the late 15th century combined with people＇ s livelihood, which is full of the epochal significance.
