Using the start way of transformer motor combination has many advantages, such as less equipment, save of investment, reliable operation and convenient maintenance and is particular suitable for the strat of large size of high voltage motor. Two engineering design projects, practical operation and the calculation method of transformer capacity and start voltage were introduced.
