现代心理学历史发展的根本动力之一,是追求"科学"的实现和存在,由此塑造了今天通行的"科学心理学"的观念。通过对"科学"的范畴含义的哲学阐明,既揭示了心理学与它所追求的"科学"之间的对立性质,又展现了心理学实现按照它的内在本性必然是什么的那种在真正严格意义上"科学"的理论形态的未来可能性,同时也对当代心理学提出要求,以人类思维及其历史的不可逆转的进步趋势为坐标,谋求心理学理论思维方式的整体转换,从而获得关于它的历史的自我否定的勇气和关于它的未来的自我确认的力量。

One of the fundamental forces of the development of modern psychology is its pursuit of its ＂scientific＂ realization,thus leaving with us a conception of ＂scientific psychology＂.A philosophical clarification of the categorical meanings of the word ＂science＂ reveals,on the one hand,the antagonism between psychology and ＂science＂ in the sense of natural sciences it pursues,and opens the future possibility,on the other hand,for psychology to realize itself as a ＂science＂ in a strict sense according to its immanent necessary nature.This clarification and analysis also demands psychology to realize a kind of Gestalt transformation in its theoretical thinking mode so as to attain the courage of self-negation concerning its history and the power of self-assertion concerning its future.
