尊重与要求相结合是教育工作者必须遵循的重要原则。为了培养和造就21世纪的一代新人 ,要真诚地尊重学生 ,把他们当成民族的未来和希望 ,进行精心的指导和培养 ;同时 ,根据当今世界科技、经济、社会的发展 ,对他们提出严格要求 ,引导和帮助他们健康成长 。

An educator must follow an important principle about the combination of respect and demand. In order to nurture and bring up the new generation in the 21st century, we should respect our students, regard them as the future and hope of the whole nation and guide and nurture them painstakingly. At the same time, we also should put forward strict demand according to the development of science and technology, economy, and society in the present world in order to help them grow up healthily and to make their contributions to the cause of Party's education.
