在普通高铬铸铁的基本成分中。在3-6%范围内改变锰量,经热处理后测定机械性能,并制做板锤,在破碎特级高铝料的情况下与高铬钼铸铁板锤进行对比,结果表明,含3-4%Mn经适当热处理的高铬锰铸铁的机械性能与高铬钼铸铁相当。所制板锤的耐磨性和高铬钼铸铁的相同。在壁厚为50mm时,用锰可以代替全部钼和铜,因此有较大的经济效益。
The replacement of Mo by Mn in high Cr cast iron is successful. The mechanical properties of high Cr-Mn cast iron is comparable to high Cr-Mo cast, if the chemical composition and heat treatment are properly selected. The wear resistance of the impact bars made of high Cr-Mn iron is almost the same as that of high Cr-Mo iron. For casting thickness below 50mm the Mo and Cu in high Cr-Mo cast iron can be completely replaced by Mn.
