On the Guidance of the Approach of Translation as Adaptation and Selection to News Translation

新闻翻译的实质是译者适应新闻翻译生态环境的选择活动;翻译的过程是译者适应与译者选择交替进行的循环过程;翻译的原则是多维度的适应与适应性选择;翻译的方法侧重"三维"转换。

The author summarizes the guiding theories in recent studies about news translation and analyzes the principles, methods of these theories as well as the characteristics of news translation. So this paper comes to its opinions by examples that the essence of news translation is the translator＇ s adaptive selection activities under its translational environment whose principles are multi-dimensional adaptation and selection and the translation methods are mainly ＂three-dimensional＂ transformations.
