A description is given of the industrial use of the Type JT-1A/JT-1 hydrodesulfurization catalyst in the first water gas desulfurization unit without the shift conversion and decarbonization system. Its operation results show that this catalyst gives a high conversion of organic sulfur in an environment of low temperature and high concentration of CO.
