[ Objective]To understand the determination results of serum cholinesterase {CHE} activity and alanine transaminase (ALT) among workers in an organophosphorus pesticides factory in Nantong City during 2011, and analyze its related influencing factors. [ Methods] 485 workers in a pesticides factory in Nantong City received the occupational health examination in 2011. The determination resuhs of serum CHE and ALT activity in the exposure group 1289 workers exposed to organophosphorus pesticides ) and the control group (196 nonexposed workers} were analyzed. [ Results] The activity of serum CHE in the exposure group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the ALT activity in the exposure group was significantly higher than that of the control group. CHE activity in working years ~〈la group and working years 〉 10a group was significantly higher than that in work- ing year 〉 1 ~ 10 a group [ P 〈 0.01 ), and CHE activity in working years ~〈 1 a group was significantly lower than that in working years 〉 10a group ( P 〈 0.01 }. The serum ALT activity increased with the increasing working years, and there was significant difference between different working year groups { P 〈 0.01 ). The activities of serum CHE and ALT in female workers were lower than those in male workers (P 〈 0.01 and P 〈 0.05 }. [ Conclusion] The organophosphorus pesticides exposure has a significant effect on serum CHE and ALT. It is necessary to pay attention to it and strengthen preventive measures.
