Taking the well-grounded and standardized protocol technical specifications of Wuhan Metro for inter-domain video surveillance networking and sharing （DB33） as the background, the requirements and difficulties in the construction of video surveillance networking for Wuhan Subway Police are introduced, the issue of network access of special communication closed-circuit television monito- ring system is addressed, which is designed for Wuhan Metro Line 1, Line 2 , Line 4 and future lines . This system could realize the connection with the huge platform of ＂Safe City＂ and satisfy the incoming image sharing requirements, featuring vertical network connection and horizontal trans-regional image sharing.
