Through analysising the higher vocational education characteristics and advantages based on the employment oriented, this paper elaborates the shortcomings and deficiencies on the mechanical drawing using the traditional course content and teaching method, and discusses how to reform the teaching method of mechanical drawing course based on the employment oriented.
