Implementation of JPEG Coding Based on Video Surveillance Image of Highway Toll

高速公路收费站视频监控图像压缩的目的是将监控视频拍摄到的较大的图像用尽量少的字节来存储和传输,并且要求复原图像时能有较好的质量。本文采用JPEG编码方式实现了高速公路收费站视频监控实时图像压缩,通过JPEG编码减轻图像存储和传输的负担,使监控图像能够在网络上实现快速传输和实时处理。

The aim of image compression of video surveillance of highway toll station is designed to make the large captured image compressed into less byte to be easy to storage and transmission with its restoration to have better quality. In this paper, the JPEG coding method is used to realize the compression of video surveillance image from the highway toll station, reduce the burden of storage and transmission, so that the monitoring image in network can be rapidly transferred and real-time processed.
