民国时期长三角棉业组织研究

On Cotton Industry Organization in the Yangtze River Delta during the Period of the Republic of China

棉业组织是推进民国时期长三角地区棉业变迁的一支重要力量。按照组织功能和组织目标,可将其分为棉业行政管理机构、棉业教学科研单位和棉业行业团体。这些棉业组织初步具备了科层制的组织特征,它以专业技术人员为主体,通过政府、行会和高校的合作与分工,在长三角棉业界领袖的领导和骨干成员的参与下,达到改进棉产和棉纺织业,促进棉业发展的目标。在改良棉产、推广技术、培育人才和维护权利方面,民国棉业组织开展了诸多工作,做出了较大成绩。

The cotton industry organizations were an important force which has promoted cotton industry changes in Yangtze River Delta. Based on the functions and objectives, these organizations can be divided into cotton industry administration, cotton industry teaching ＆ research units, and the cotton industry trade group. They showed bureaucratic organization characteristics initially, and consisted chiefly of professional and tech- nical personnel. By the cooperation and division among the governments, guilds and universities, as well as by the participation of the cotton industry leaders and major members in Yangtze River Delta, these organizations has achieved the goals for improving cotton production and cotton textile industry so as to promote the cotton industry development. In the meantime they also has carried out a lot of work, such as improving cotton pro- duction, spreading technology, training personnel and maintaining rights, and made great achievements at last.
