RBT(radial bond tool) manufactured by Sondex Company was used for cementing job evaluation.The prime use for RBT Tool was to evaluate the hydraulic isolation between producing and non-producing zones,and the integrity of the wells was evaluated through effective placement between the casing annulus and the formation.The principle of the instrument and its evaluation criteria were introduced,through cementing quality assessment services of more than 30 wells in the United Arab Emirates,the special phenomenon and its difficulty in the application are emphatically summarized and explained,it lays the foundation for further application of the instruments.
