The International Communication Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China （CCCPC） recently told media that 521 -- or 23 percent -- of the 2,270 delegates to the 18th CPC （Communist Party of China） National Congress will be women. That marks an increase of 76 women delegates compared with the previous congress. The congress is scheduled for October in Beijing.
