摘要
继TCP和UDP之后,流控制传输协议(SCTP)是一种新兴的传输层协议。该协议是一种面向链接的可靠的传输协议,具有多宿主、多流特等特性。SCTP也正由于其良好的特性而广泛应用于IP网络进行信令传输。针对SCTP协议,提出一种吞吐量计算模型,并通过网络仿真工具NS2对改进后的模型进行仿真测试,证实这种模型能比较有效地计算SCTP协议的吞吐量。
Streams control transfer protocol (SCTP) has become a new kind of transport layer protocol after the ap- plication of TCP and UDP. The protocol is a reliable and connection-oriented transmission protocol, which possesses the characteristics of multiple hosts, multiple streams, and so on. Just due to its excellent characteristics, SCTP is widely applied to the field of IP network for signaling transmission. According to SCTP, this paper presents a calcu- lation model for the throughput, and uses the network simulation tools NS2 to do the simulation test, finally confir- ming that this model can effectively calculate the throughput of SCTP.
