摘要
地理虚拟环境为地理空间交互式可视化提供了极大便利。与传统VE相比,复杂地理虚拟环境中所要处理的可视化数据在类型、结构和展现形式上有显著不同,对界面设计和交互技术也提出新的挑战。首先针对多维度、异构性的特点,提出抽象信息的显示与交互技术;然后针对大尺度、多比例复杂地理空间的特点,结合桌面环境交互需求,提出融合多种交互隐喻的混合交互技术;最后,介绍基于上述研究成果开发的虚拟矿山原型系统,验证了用户界面的可用性。
GeoVirtual environments can greatly facilitate interactive geographic visualization. Compared with the traditional VEs, visual information in complex Geo VEs is very different in data type, structure and display formats. Some features such as multi-dimensional, heterogeneous and multi-scale must be considered in designing user interfaces and interaction techniques for 3D virtual geospatial. First, display modes and interaction techniques of abstract information were studied based on analyzing information structure in GeoVEs. Then, for large space and multi-scale complex desktop GeoVEs, several effective mixed interaction techniques were proposed which integrated multiple types of navigation metaphors and spatial cognitive cues. Finally, a virtual mine prototype system was demonstrated to validate the usability of these proposed interaction techniques.
