The Dabie Mountains Revolutionary Base Area is an important strategic base under the leadership of the Communist Party of China during China＇s revolutionary war period. In the period of China＇s War of Liberation, the Dabie Mountains Revolutionary Base played a very important role in the people＇s Liberation War. In the strategic defensive phase, it is the outpost to stand against the Nationalist Party army＇s all-round attack to Liberation Area. In the strategic offensive phase, it became the outpost and polar soldier. The ZhongYuan Liberation Area, taking the Dabie Mountains Revolutionary Base Area as the center, is the forward base to win the Liberation War of China. The base areas and the dabie mountain people made remarkable contribution to the victory of China＇s new-democratic revolution.
