This paper described a case of an automobile transmission factory production line application of RFID technology in logistics and assembly. The RFID technology was used in several links of the production line, such as parts distribution management, assembly management, product quality testing and product rework, in order to achieve efficient production management and product traceability. This paper analyzed the application requirements of the system, and introduced the system implementation plan, including system deployment, software features, application process, and coding. Through the application of the system, we solved the problem of mixed batch assembly, and the parts information is completely traceable, work efficiency has also been significantly improved.
