摘要
哲学史上,光构成了我们经验的本体论,柏拉图光的隐喻是从认识论层面的分析,老子的道本体论是从本体论层面对光的分析,奥古斯丁则是从境界论层面对光的分析。这里的光指的是自然光(尤其是太阳光),它参与我们的存在,形成的是光—物—人的模式。虚拟实在也是以光为本体论,但这里的光是人造的电力之光,我们在虚拟实在中所经验到的就是人造光的不同组合,因而在认识论的层次上,光直接进入了我们的意识中;本体论的层面上,它自身构成一个世界;境界论的层面上,构成的是体验,而不是经验。由此,我们可以看到虚拟与现实的关系,不同于我们日常所说的虚拟世界同物理世界的关系。
In the history of philosophy, hght constitutes the ontology of our experience. Plato' s metaphor of light is an analysis from the aspect of epistemology. LaoZi' s ontology of Tao is an analysis from the aspect of ontology, while Augustine analyses light from the aspect of spiritual realm. Such light refers to the natural hght (especially the sunlight), which involves in our being and forms the pattern of light-material-human. Virtual being is also based on the ontology of hght. But, here the light is man-made. What we have experienced in virtual being is a combination of different man-made lights. Thus, from the aspect of epistemology, light directly enters into our consciousness; from the aspect of ontology, it constitutes a world by itself and from the aspect of spiritual realm; it constitutes the spiritual experience, not the material one. So, we can learn the relationship between the virtual and reality, which is different from the relationship between virtual world and physical world.
